Prince Harry made a special appearance on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday (3). He appeared by surprise in the studio to play along with cheesy Christmas movie titles.

The Duke of Sussex showed up just as Colbert was talking with his guests Michael Shannon and Irish actress and singer Jessie Buckley about tacky Christmas movie titles.
Prince Harry popped up behind the host, asking him how he could join auditions for Christmas movies with titles similar to “The Gingerbread Prince Saves Christmas in a Basket”.
“Sorry, I really thought this was the audition for ‘The Gingerbread Prince Saves Christmas in a Basket’,” the royal joked.
“You’re a real prince — why would you want to be in one of these movies?” Colbert asked. “Well, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies and clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?” the duke replied.

“Wait, wait, look, I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with royalty,” Colbert said. That’s when Prince Harry mentioned the election of Donald Trump.
“Really? I heard you elected a king,” he joked, prompting howls and boos directed at the U.S. president. “You’ve got a point,” the host replied.
“And after all the fuss you made about my sixth great-grandfather, George III,” he added, referring to the British monarch who lost the 13 colonies in North America in 1783.
“Well, he was kind of an idiot,” Colbert said. “Get over it,” Prince Harry shot back.
